Any direction to support GPU for processing tasks? I am planning my 2012 computer upgrade and would be willing to run a computer with dual high performance GPUs to support computations. But not sure if your going to support it.

I did a search for "GPU" and din't see anything. Let me know.

No GPU client available, and, as I understand it, this is unlikely to be programmed.

Since malariacontrol.net doesn't use GPUs, could the server code be tweaked/updated, so newer BOINC clients aren't always asking for GPU work like this:

Some of the projects I run have on the "proprieties of Projects" in the BOINC client, "Project have no apps for ATI GPU", and these don't ask for work for the GPU.

But some of the projects signal that they don't have GPU units, and it appears on the project properties of the BOINC client as "Project have no apps for ATI GPU". So it must be a server/application configuration set by the project.
