I have just joined on to this boinc project, and my first work unit went into the crapper with error code 148 (ox94 for you hexarithmatic nazis :o) ).
1. Is there a list of error codes around we can consult?
2. What happened? I may have gotten credit for it, but that doesn\'t help anyone with malaria.

If it\'s a BOINC error code, you can look them up here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/error_numbers.h

No, you didn\'t get any credit for it. Looking here: https://malariacontrol.net/result.php?resultid=3551420 it is tagged as invalid, which is not surprising as most results that error out are invalid.
As to exactly what happened, unfortunately it\'s not that easy for someone not connected to your system to know or even find out. It looks to be a transient error anyway, as it is the only one of its kind so far. Your other results are either granted credit or pending results being returned by other participants.
Unless it happens repeatedly, I wouldn\'t be too worried about it. Just file it under the \"&^@#%$ happens\" folder. ;->

2. What happened?
The BOINC client could not map the logical name of the input file to the location of the workunit file. Maybe something went wrong during the download. The problem does not seem to persist, though.
