The project server will be shut down from Dec 27, 0700 UTC to Dec 28, 1730 UTC because of maintenance work at the computing centre. We plan the following steps to minimize the impact of this.
    We will:

    • starting on Dec 20, increase the deadline for all workunits (the delay_bound) from 3.5 days to 10 days until the server is restarted.
    • increase the maximum number of workunits that can be sent to a host per day.
    • temporarily reduce the timespan that completed workunits are kept in the database.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    Have a nice Holiday
    Nick

Excellent idea adding that to the buttons on BOINC Manager.

We\'re back online! The maintenance work at the computer center is already over, they told me that the second day was only a reserve. We\'ll slowly adjust the configuration back to the normal values (deadlines etc.)

The catchup period will be a good stress test of your systems!

Welcome back, always nice when things take less time then expected, makes a rare change doesn\'t it!
