Termporarily disabled stats dumps

I’ve 3 systems attached, of which two are still contributing. On this site two systems are reporting the correct average credit, and two systems are reporting the correct totals: comp1, 5622 average credit, total credit 22 comp2, 2340 average credit, total credit 17143 * comp3, 49 average credit, total credit 16788 * malaria control has been suspended on this system for a day or so and the stats are still correct. So it appears that the stats on the malaria control site are now incorrect, along with the stats on Boinc Manager and various stat sites. On 22nd Nov my total was about 231,566. I had recently been contributing a lot more than usual (after suspending other projects), about 25K per day for 3days and was still crunching plenty of tasks. I thought 25K per day was a bit high, even for an i7 and two quads, but my total dropped on 23rd Nov to 144003 and on 24th Nov it was 0. One of the quad systems is no longer running tasks but two systems are still crunching. Have you been playing with the credit system? Hope you are updating your internal stats database and have a backup. Good luck, |

Made it to 100,000, but I think my ambition got the better of me when it came to 1M. At my present and unsustainable rate, it would take 2 years. I think 5 or 6 is more reasonable. |

Hey you are now OVER 80K and 'movin on up'!! CONGRATULATIONS and keep up the good work!! Thanks Mikey, I added a couple more systems; seem to be doing ok for now - getting plenty of tasks. Hope to make it to 100K soon :) This is one of several projects I would like to reach 1M on, but that is a long way off. I hope there are plenty of tasks for a long time. |

Picked up a lot of tasks today, for the first time in a long time. I thought this project had died, but it looks like that was just for me. 4 tasks returned already this month, and 30 credits! My RAC even went above Zero :) I might even get my 79,415 credits up to 80K. |

I also use the World Community Grid (WCG): One of the studies is Dengue drugs - that tackle malaria! So this should interest anyone contributing to malaria control. The WGC is the only project that offers work units from several different research groups at once, so it is always running (with only part of the web server going offline, when updating stats every night for an hour). The WCG gives you the option to participate in different groups or opt out; so if you are not so keen on nutritious rice, you can opt out! You could for example select to participate in: Discovering Dengue Drugs, FightAIDS@Home, Help Conquer Cancer, The Clean Energy Project, But opt out of the others. The points system is a bit different, with each project having points, and you can earn badges for participation levels: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/images/pb/faah_2.jpg https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/images/pb/cep1_0.jpg You can also make a 'widgit' for your website, that shows your WCG scores. PS, I think WCG is the only project that directly offers people the opportunity to participate in researching Clean Energy! |
