why "search" access on /home ?

Posted 973 days ago by pcfe Hello, why does the malariacontrol boinc client try (at least on some of the work units) to access /home ? Example: setroubleshoot: SELinux is preventing /var/lib/boinc/projects/www.malariacontrol.net/openMalariaB_6.45_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu "search" access on /home. # strings openMalariaB_6.45_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu | grep home /home/gouigoui/devel/read_only_om/lib:/home/gouigoui/devel/read_only_om/build/xsdcxx No, I will not grant this access (least of all because the path will not lead anywhere). boinc lives completely in /var/lib/boinc and should not try to read files outside of that path. This looks like a leftover on the development side and is spamming my logs (apart from that the malariacontrol client in boinc seems to work well) PCFE |
