I've just installed BOINC manager 6.10.58, it seems to work fine.
Now it doesn't dowload new tasks but I can't know the reason because the content message isn't displayed; in detail the message panel display only 2 rows:

Is it a configuration problem or a bug?

Try stopping Boinc, exiting it and then restarting it, sometimes the easy things work and sometimes they don't. The next thing to look at is how many other projects is that pc crunching for? There is a 'debt' process that Boinc uses so you could be getting lots of work for another project and none for MC right now as it tries to balance that out.

Not really, I use 6.10..56 on the machine that crunches Malaria but have 6.10.58 on other projects/machines and they work just fine so I do not think it is Boinc.
As of right now there are "Results ready to send 2,503" so lack of units being available to download is not the problem either.
If you open the Boinc manager and then click on the Projects tab and then hi-lite Malaria and then click properties to the left and scroll way down to the bottom what do you where it says "Scheduling". I only have one project running on this machine, Malaria, but see:
cpu scheduling priority 0.0
cpu work fetch priority 0.0
cpu work fetch deferred for ____
cpu work fetch deferral interval ___
duration correction factor 2.3475
What are your numbers and how do they compare to the WCG numbers?

Malaria does not have any gpu work so your Nvidia card will always say that if you don't connect it to a project that has work for Nvidia gpu's.

I am having the same problem on this installation. I get and run malariaControl packages on all my other machines, but ot here. This instance successfully does other projects, but not malariaControl.
I have tried Reseting the project, and Detatching and re-attaching. but no success.
Any good suggestions ?
Any logs I can dig into to see what I can see ?

Check to make sure you do not have that pc in a different work venue, under Your Account, Preferences for this project there are different venues, as in default, home, work and school. Make sure you didn't accidentally move that pc to one that does not allow the different types of workunits.
/ That could be the issue.
I did note that one instance is Home and one is Work.

I found that when I limit the max disk avaiulable to BOINC to 0.25GB It stops working. If I increase to ~2GB it works.
Seems to work for me.
