Good evening all,

I am hoping that you folks can shed some light on this problem.

Why am I getting these messages and will it be the reason I am not getting credits for the work?

most probably is just a permission issue. How did you install boinc ? Other projects have the same issue (if you have other projects)?

also if u are on a 64bit system, install the ia32-libs (sudo apt-get install ia32-libs)

We have real 64-bit binaries so 32-bit libs shouldn't be needed. The workunit error is different:

6.10.17

process got signal 11

Take a look at this thread. (Note: this is the third report of this error recently. Please confirm whether resetting the project helps. Thanks!)

Hi cisf,

Thank you for the reply, I think but I am not sure I installed via Ubuntu's Software Centre. Sorry to be so vague but it was quite a while ago and I seem to remember installing from the software centre and from a downloaded file. One method bought some problems so I settled on the other.

I run this project along with climate prediction net and it doesn't seem to have any problems. It only seems to have become a problem since the middle of September and my only real concern is that the work being done is being reported and received by the project team

Thank you for the response hardy,

I will reset the project and see if it helps.

Many thanks

Keith
