    Hi All
I'm coming back to this project after a bit of an hiatus. I recall that the project only had Linux apps a while ago but see it now has Windows as well. As I have a number of dual boot computers. Which app is the fastest/most efficient or do they pan out equally ?

EDIT: I was confusing Malaria Control with one of the WCG projects when I mentioned Linux only. however the main question stands about the best app to use.

Hard to say: little difference on my dual boot PCs.

64-bit apps (only available on 64-bit linux for now) may be faster, but I'm not certain. We haven't checked.

If anyone wants to, the various apps can be downloaded at:

        http://malariacontrol.net/download/openMalariaBeta_6.58_i686-apple-darwin
        http://malariacontrol.net/download/openMalariaBeta_6.58_i686-pc-linux-gnu
        http://malariacontrol.net/download/openMalariaBeta_6.58_windows_intelx86
        http://malariacontrol.net/download/openMalariaBeta_6.58_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
        http://malariacontrol.net/download/openMalariaBeta_6.58_x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

Or you can build yourself: http://code.google.com/p/openmalaria/wiki/BuildSystem. You can either use the test scenarios as documented on that page or download a workunit from somewhere (make sure you get a suitable version for the version of OpenMalaria you have; run "./openMalaria --version" to check which schema version a binary supports).

To make a work-unit longer/shorter you can adjust the popSize attribute.

Sorry but I don't have a lot of time right now, so if someone wants to test this that'd be great!
