	Boinc v 5.8.16. Boinc manager tells me malaria control is running but I get error messages appearing as below. 	Hi, I am having the same problem after I upgraded the boinc client to version 5.8.17 on Ubunty Feisty 7.04. Aside from Malariacontrol I am running another project (climateprediction) but I am experiencing the problem for malariacontrol only. For me, it seems that the problem is project related. If you think something else, please do advice. Thanks Dali

	Hi We have the same problem on Feisty here with the 5.8.16 client. We can reproduce it on more than one machine/account with CPU throttling enabled like so: Use no more than [60%] of the processor. Apparently it does not interfere with the correct operation of either malariacontrol or the boinc client, or result validation and credit. Can you confirm that this error message goes away when you disable throttling? cheers, Jan

	Can you confirm that this error message goes away when you disable throttling? I reset my preferences to 100% CPU and requested an update of Malariacontrol.net.beta and the following sequence of messages was produced. Despite the apparent error BOINC reports that malariacontrol is running. I restarted BOINC but will have to wait until malariacontrol is selected to run again before I know whether this fixed the problem. I will only report back if more error messages are produced. 	According to this trac ticket for BOINC http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/ticket/346 this problem should be fixed in the 5.10.x clients. Hope this helps Michael
