What version of Linux are you using? I am FAR from an expert but did get it running under Ubuntu 7.1.0 recently.

If it does not work, the search part I mean, then you need to download some updated stuff. Post back here if you need to know exactly what I clicked to download but it was the top 2 things on the list and then Boinc showed up in the search list. The rest worked just fine. I attached to Malaria not Rosetta but the process was the same.

Sorry I cannot help you there, as I said I am VERY new to Linux. I am just proud I got mine working and was hoping to pass that on. Obviously there is a LOT left to learn!

Use boinc_cmd
With boinc_cmd --lookup_account URL email password you can find your account key. This is when you have an account already, of course.
Then just type boinc_cmd --project_attach URL account_key
All other commands can be found there.
