I just realised it's been well over a month since the last status update. Well, now's a good time to give you a little news!

Recently, one of the main areas of work on the science model has been to introduce better modelling of the role mosquitoes play in transmitting malaria (largely what was mentioned in the last post). This is now working (internally) and can simulate effects of killing mosquitoes with insecticide-treated bed-nets, etc. At the moment we're only using this for small-scale simulations, so there's no immediate need to release this on BOINC, however I'm sure at some point in the future this model will be used to run larger simulations.

Besides that, there's some improvements being made to a few aspects of the model, regarding how we simulate treatment of infected people.
