Long Run Times
(Message 19164)
Posted 342 days ago by TylerChris Yup the 2952** series of WUs are back . This one took the best part of 17 hours to complete on a duo running at2.66. Validated ok the check points are very frequent so not much time lost suspending, but would rather not get em. |

Inconclusive/invalid
(Message 17937)
Posted 462 days ago by TylerChris Seeing a large rise in this issue on 'B'WUs only. On my machine it only occurs on the longer work units. eg. explain. Task is Here Cannot find anything wrong in the logs. Thanks Chris |

Posted 483 days ago by TylerChris Hi Mikey Somewhat bemused by your latest post. Not "STILL" doing anything. Have not tried again since replying on forum to yourself yesterday. To put this one to bed will attempt to PM you (hope that is OK) Cheers Chris. |

Posted 484 days ago by TylerChris Hi Mikey Thanks for your reply. Think there is some confusion here, probably because this post should have been posted under 'Web site issues'. Was wondering if the 'private message/inbox-write' features work here. Each time tried ends with the result user not found weather the unique name or ID is used. |

Validating results
(Message 16895)
Posted 575 days ago by TylerChris Hmm tricky one this. Seeing loads of re-sends 95%+ of which are the result of the behaviour of one cruncher.Hundreds if not thousands of accounts created. From just a quick look at my results the ID nos range from 302133-351198.Each of these accounts appear to be for the same computer all with 1-5 work units that have timed out. This is a little reminiscent of the 'Wate' issue at predictor@home back in 2006. CPDN are also saying their servers are being attacked. My unreserved apologises go out if this is above board but thought this deserved a mention. Chris. Edit when clicking on this crunchers 'show computers' the site goes sluggish and shows no results. |

Frozen Out:(
(Message 16574)
Posted 616 days ago by TylerChris In the meantime, you could reactivate OpenMalariaB the issue have been fixed and everything is ok now :) Unfortunately not most are still crashing being aborted at the end resulting in computer error. But the few that are getting through are lowering the average processing rate. Boinc downloaded quite a few wus. believing they were a mere 1 min long. Will crunch a few more then probably abort the rest as this is unproductive. Maybe future releases similar to CMerint tasks could carry a Boinc health warning:) |
