| I´m a simulation engineer working for BMW Group, Munich (Germany). In my free-time, DC is not the only volunteering I do: I´m in active service in a volunteer fire brigade since 1993. Recently, I´ve also started an additional volunteer engagement at the Malteser paramedics. The picture above was taken at a training session in a flash-over container (you can see me in the front line, second from left side). Although there were only 10 squaremeters of flake board for heating inside the container, the temperatures reached up to 500 degrees Celsius at the ceiling. It was unimaginably hot, and most of us were pretty happy to leave the container after just 20 minutes... (Curious? You can see different profiles of me at SIMAP and Climate Prediction .) |
