We have recently submitted the final part of the analysis of the simulation results from the vaccine study. While the previous paper focused on the epidemiological impact of different vaccines and vaccination strategies, the submitted article discusses the cost-effectiveness of different vaccine-based control strategies.
Given it is accepted for publication, we expect that this article will be available online in early 2009.

We plan to conduct one more simulation study with more than 100’000 individual workunits before the end of the year. Apart from this, we won’t have very much additional work to send out. Next week, we will stop the current simulation runs, and it will take some time to analyze these data and prepare the follow-up work. Please read this thread on recommended steps to make sure your PC is contributing to other projects while there is no work for malariacontrol.net.

    Thanks
    Nick
